What is Jenni AI?

Jenni AI is an academic writing assistant that helps students and researchers draft essays and papers with citations attached. You write alongside its autocomplete, which suggests the next sentence based on your text and sources, and Jenni can insert in-text citations from papers you upload or find through its library, formatted in thousands of referencing styles including APA and MLA.

Beyond drafting, it paraphrases, summarizes sources, and generates outlines and literature-review sections from a prompt. The editor keeps sources and text side by side, which makes checking claims easier than in general chatbots. Universities take a dim view of submitting AI-written work as your own, so Jenni works best as a drafting and structuring aid under your institution's rules.
