What is Krea 3?

Krea 3, launched in open beta on October 15, 2026, is Krea's new image-editing model built for speed and precision. Most edits return in under eight seconds end to end at native 2K resolution, and the model's standout trick is consistency: products, labels, logos, characters, and text stay intact while the rest of the scene changes — a common failure point for AI editors that Krea 3 is specifically designed to solve.

Each edit can draw on up to six reference images, including style references, and bounding-box controls let you place new elements exactly where you want them or edit only a selected region while the rest of the frame stays untouched. Krea also says it is the first editing model that can be fine-tuned with LoRAs on a specific product, person, or style — handy for e-commerce teams generating packshots and colorways from a single approved photo. It is available on krea.ai, through the Krea API, and via partners including fal, Together AI, OpenRouter, and Replicate.
