Chat with AI characters and build your own.
Wabi
The first “multiplayer” AI assistant — shared agent threads and mini-apps for groups.
What is Wabi?
Wabi, launched to all users on October 19, 2026 by former Replika CEO Eugenia Kuyda, is a personal AI assistant built around a first: shared, multi-threaded conversations. Instead of one endless chat, Wabi organizes your life into task-specific agent threads — health, family, travel, work — and each thread can be shared with other people like a group chat. Inside every thread, the assistant builds working mini-apps on its own: a weight-loss tracker in your health thread, an app showing nearby kids’ events in your family thread.
Connect Wabi to your email and it automatically seeds your first set of threads and apps; you can then ask for more or start threads yourself. Access to email, calendars, and bank accounts is scoped per chat and visible to everyone in it — the company says it is SOC 2 compliant and stores most user data in the United States. Behind the scenes it routes requests through models from Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI. With $20 million in pre-seed funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, Wabi is the most interesting new idea in assistants this year — and it is free for now.
