What is Attie?
Attie is Bluesky's experimental AI creation tool, first launched earlier in 2026 as a way to build custom social feeds from a text prompt. On October 15, 2026, CEO Toni Schneider announced a major expansion at TechCrunch Disrupt: Attie can now build small social sites and experiences — games, polls, quizzes, surveys, guestbooks, events, dashboards, landing pages and AMAs — from a plain-language description, no coding needed. Bluesky calls it “social vibe coding”: software made for a community, by describing what the community wants.
Every creation gets its own shareable web address, and it is social from day one — friends can sign in with their Bluesky accounts to vote, RSVP or leave messages. Official starter examples include Flappy Butterfly (a Flappy Bird-style game with a leaderboard), a poster-alignment quiz that reads a user's last 100 posts, and an AMA site that takes questions anonymously. Everything runs on the same open AT Protocol infrastructure as the Bluesky network itself.
