What is Tana?

Tana is an outliner where every node can become structured data. Its signature Supertags let you tag a bullet as a #meeting, #project or #person and instantly give it fields, views and commands - turning plain notes into a living database without leaving the outline. AI meeting notes, voice memos transcribed into the graph, and AI chat over your workspace complete the picture.

Live collaboration, saved searches and command-line-style speed make Tana a power user's tool, beloved by researchers and consultants who model complex domains. The flip side is a famously steep learning curve - Supertags reward an upfront investment that casual note-takers may never recoup. Tana keeps expanding its AI layer, including agents that process your notes automatically.
